This piece was created in a place of deep study of Parashah Tzav.
As I read and meditated on Moses anointing and consecrating his older brother Aaron for service in the tabernacle as the High Priest—the Kohen Gadol—something began to stir deeply within me.
In my spirit, I also saw Yeshua—His sacrifice as the final Lamb of atonement—and Him stepping into His eternal role as our Great Kohen Gadol.
I found myself asking the Lord,
“Did You pour oil upon Yeshua’s head, Abba? Will we witness that moment one day?”
In that moment, a song was birthed in my soul.
I stayed up late that night writing—overwhelmed, weeping, completely undone by the glory of what I was sensing. It was not just songwriting… it was an encounter.
After listening to the song in its completion, I created this image.
It took my breath away.
What began as a quiet question… a whispered wonder in my heart… had now taken form.
Abba, pouring His oil upon His Son~
my Yeshua, our Kohen Gadol.
“Yeshua Kohen Gadol | Poured Out in This Place” reflects the sacred nearness of the Lord,
where covering, healing, and intimacy meet.
The image carries the heart of being held—fully seen, fully known, and gently covered in His presence. It is a visual expression of the High Priest who not only intercedes, but draws near, shelters, and restores.
The oil represents being poured out—both His offering and ours.
A place of surrender, devotion, and consecration.
This is not just a painting. It is a moment. A quiet encounter.
A reminder that even in hidden places… He is near.
My prayer is that anyone who sees this piece would feel peace, covering, and the gentle presence of God.
